Singing for the love of it

Welcome to the website of Phil de la Haye and Get Singing. Phil is a community singing leader based near Thornbury in South Gloucestershire. She runs a weekly singing group in Thornbury and can be booked for one-off workshops by arrangement.

Phil currently runs a weekly community choir in Thornbury. Get Singing Thornbury meets on a Tuesday evening (term time only) at Turnberries Community Centre. There is no waiting list and no auditions, new members are welcome at any time and the group is suitable for all singing abilities. Phil teaches a wide range of songs including gospel, folk and world music.
Get Singing Thornbury is back for the Autumn from the 7th of September onwards.

"I love to sing, but never felt I made a good enough sound to sing in public. At Phil's sessions I get to sing my heart out with a bunch of other people who love to sing too. The sound we make together is great and gives me a real buzz. It's a brilliant way to relieve stress and I come away feeling relaxed and happy."
